Made on traditional handlooms or power looms, these are mainly used as floor coverings, runners for furnishing stairs or corridors, wall paneling, ceiling etc.
Popular weaves are Panama, herringbone, boucle etc. Mattings are usually available in rolls having width 75cm to 400cm and lengths 30mts to 50mts.
