Respisense Baby Breathing Monitor:
This new and unique product is slipped onto the baby's nappy or waist-band near to the navel area. It then monitors the baby's breathing movement whilst it sleeps. If no breathing movement is detected for 15 seconds, the unit will vibrate in an effort to stir the baby. If no movement is detected for a total of 20 consecutive seconds, its built-in alarm sounds to alert the carer. This product can be used in conjunction with a sound or video device to give greater flexibility, however, its main advantage over other monitors is that it is completely portable. It has no wires, cables or leads, no batteries to recharge or replace and can be used on the sleeping baby in the cot, car seat, travel cot, pram or where ever the baby is put down to sleep. The unit is only 30g in weight and around the size of a matchbox so it should not interfear with the baby's sleep and comfort.
